 The Australian Terrier is one of the smallest of the working terriers. Usually quieter, the Australian is a fun loving and obedient terrier. They tend to be very good house dogs, and prefer to spend time around the family.
 The Australian Terrier needs to be brushed weekly to keep a nice looking coat, but another plus ... THEY DO NOT SHED! They also come in two colors, blue/tan or red.
 The female Australian reaches 9 inches tall and the average male is near 11 inches tall. The life expectancy of the Australian is 12 to 14 years.
